Carl Lygo is Chief Executive Officer of BPP, having been with the organization for 12 years. Mr. Lygo oversees the operation of BPP's centres in 22 cities within the UK and Channel Islands, and 11 countries throughout Europe.
Having served on BPP's Board of Directors for the past six years, Mr. Lygo comes to BPP with 20 years of experience in the UK education sector -- which included some of the finest English universities where he served as both a lecturer and director. As a Barrister (court room attorney), Mr. Lygo has been included in the UK's "Hot 100 Lawyers" by industry magazine The Lawyer and The Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales has appointed him as a member of the advisory committee of the Judicial Studies Board.
Additionally, the UK Secretary of State for Education has appointed Mr. Lygo as a special education representative. It was Mr. Lygo's visionary leadership which led to BPP's ground breaking initiative to become the first private-sector organisation granted degree-awarding powers by the UK's Privy Council. Instrumental in forming BPP's community projects, Mr. Lygo's efforts have helped establish pro bono centres and scholarship funds to widen access to professional education in the UK.
Mr. Lygo holds a first class honours degree in law, a research master's degree in law and is the holder of a Lord Diplock Scholarship. He has recently become a graduate of the University of Michigan and Henley Business School, completing the MBA programme through distance learning.

Julian van der Westhuizen is the CEO and a director of Milpark Education.His qualifications include Baccalaureus Rekeningkunde, University of Stellenbosch, BCompt (Hons), University of South Africa, and Certificate in the Theory of Accountancy, University of South Africa.
He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 and went straight into private practice.
From 1987 to 2003, Julian was the senior partner in a Cape Town auditing practice. He negotiated with Moore Stephens London for the right to establish a South African network of Moore Stephens audit firms in 2003, ultimately growing the firm to the 9th largest in South Africa based on fees.
Julian was also previously a Registered Auditor and accredited to conduct audits of JSE listed companies. He is a Director on the Board of Trustees for Dance for All, a non-profit organization.
Since he invested in Milpark in 2010, Julian has grown Milpark Education into a leading business education institution in South Africa.
Julian’s expertise in finding innovative financial solutions, and his knowledge of tax, structures and transactions has assisted himin meeting the complex business challenges of growing a competitive and relevant educational brand in the contemporary business environment.
